Bucks & Bulls battle it out for the 3 seed in East

The Bucks Big 3 was sensational and led the team to victory against a very good Chicago Bulls team.

The Bucks took the 3 seed from the Chicago Bulls after beating them in Chicago. In an epic battle, the Bucks Big 3 all had a great game and led the Bucks to victory. Chicago had a great game from Zach Lavine and DeMar DeRozan but it wasn’t enough in the end. The Bulls have now lost 14 games against teams with a .600+ win percentage. They have only won 2 games against the top teams with that win percentage.

Giannis Antetokounmpo led all scorers in the game and had 34 points. He also had 16 rebounds and 5 assists to go along with it. Jrue Holiday had 26 points, 16 of which came in the 4th quarter. He also had 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Khris Middleton had 22 points, 7 assists, and 6 rebounds. Bobby Portis has been huge for the Bucks this season and contributed with 12 points and 7 rebounds.

The Big 3 for the Bulls had scored in double digits as well but there was not much help from the other players. Nikola Vucevic did not have the best of games either having scored only 19 points and had 9 rebounds. DeRozan had 29 points and 5 assists while Zach Lavine led the team with 30 points, 6 assists, and 8 rebounds. The Bulls had trouble on the boards and were outrebounded 50-40.

With the win, the Bucks push the Bulls out of 3rd place in the Eastern Conference and became the 3rd seed. The Bulls fall to the 4th seed in the East. With how competitive the Eastern conference is, the position of teams in the standings is fluid. Any team could end up the 1 seed at the end of the season.

The Bucks have been the silent assassins since last season. After exits in the Playoffs when they were the No.1 team in the East, the Bucks went under the radar becoming the 3rd seed last year. They went on to win the Championship last season. This season they have once again gone under the radar and as Giannis said, all they care about is being one of the top 6 teams and then going all out in the Playoffs.

The Bulls have missed their top defenders and playmakers in Lonzo Ball and Alex Caruso. They have to get them back as soon as possible to have a chance of reaching the Eastern Conference finals this season. That being said the Bulls are a legitimate contender for the next few years and are a dangerous team to go up against.
