FIA organisers and Formula One have officially confirmed the news of the inaugural Miami Grand Prix next year which sets to be located around the Hard Rock Stadium with a huge number of fans expecting to fill up the entire stadium. The fans will be indeed excited to see their favourite drivers race in the new circuit next year. The organisers have finalised the dates for 6-8th May 2022 for the Miami Grand Prix. This marks the eleventh location in the calendar to feature since the beginning of the championship way back in 1950. The drivers are preparing to battle around the thrilling new track next May.
Tom Garfinkel, managing partner of Miami Grand Prix was extremely happy with the response as he mentioned: “There has been tremendous enthusiasm and anticipation for this event, and we’re happy to be able to announce the date so that people can start planning for it,” reports Reuters. It is a 5.41 kilometres circuit consisting of many turns and overtaking changes.
Miami Grand Prix CEO Richard Cregan on his press conference mentioned: “There is no doubt in my mind that the Formula 1 community and the sport’s fanbase worldwide are going to be amazed by what they see next May in the USA.”
The unforgettable events of the Super Bowl and Miami Open will make this event even more interesting as there will be a huge amount of crowd coming in to cheer for their favourite driver.
