N’Golo Kanté has officially joined Fenerbahce while Youssef En-Nesyri has completed his move to Al Ittihad, just hours after both deals were reported to have collapsed.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed the agreements with his trademark “Here We Go,” revealing that the two clubs received final approval for the necessary documents despite an earlier FIFA rejection. What initially appeared to be a complete breakdown due to issues with documentation and the Transfer Matching System (TMS) has now ended in success following renewed submissions and last-minute clearance.

Kanté, who was expected to remain at Al Ittihad after FIFA blocked the initial appeal, will now sign a long-term contract with Turkish giants Fenerbahce until June 2028. The French midfielder’s return to European football is seen as a massive boost for the Istanbul club, who have been eager to add experience and leadership to their midfield ahead of a demanding domestic and continental campaign.

Fenerbahce had earlier released a statement acknowledging FIFA’s rejection, which sparked confusion and disappointment among supporters. However, both clubs persisted with negotiations and paperwork adjustments, eventually receiving the green light to finalize the transfers.
