Lautaro Martínez has made his intentions clear about his future at Inter Milan after another successful Serie A campaign for the Nerazzurri.
Inter have already secured the Serie A title this season, with the club once again proving dominant in Italian football under Simone Inzaghi. Even though the campaign is not over yet, Lautaro has already spoken openly about his long-term future at the club.
The Argentine striker delivered an emotional statement while speaking to Gazzetta dello Sport. His comments were later shared by Fabrizio Romano on social media.
“I’d like to finish my career at Inter. I am so happy here. I can’t imagine myself elsewhere,” Lautaro said.
The Inter captain also added another strong line which will excite supporters across Milan.
“If they don’t kick me out, I will always stay here!”
Lautaro has become one of the most important players for Inter since joining the club from Racing Club in 2018. Over the years, he has developed into the face of the project and a leader inside the dressing room.
This season, the 27-year-old has once again played a key role in Inter’s title-winning campaign with his goals, leadership and consistency. His partnership in attack and his influence in big matches helped Inter stay ahead of their rivals throughout the season.
The latest comments from Lautaro will come as a major boost for Inter fans, especially at a time when several top European clubs continue to monitor elite strikers in the market.
