Benjamin Šeško’s reputation as one of Europe’s most powerful young strikers continues to grow, and now even his own teammates are admitting just how difficult it is to deal with his shots in training.

Goalkeeper Senne Lammens recently shared a candid insight into what it is like to face the Slovenian forward during practice sessions. According to the shot-stopper, Šeško’s finishing ability can be intimidating even for professional goalkeepers who are used to dealing with powerful strikes.

“Šeško hits the hardest shots in training,” Lammens said, highlighting the sheer power behind the striker’s attempts on goal. The goalkeeper explained that situations during close-range drills can become particularly challenging.

“It’s actually crazy sometimes. As a keeper, when people are five yards in front of you, you don’t really want to swat the ball,” he admitted.

Close-range finishing drills are designed to sharpen attackers’ instincts, but they can also put goalkeepers in uncomfortable situations. With players shooting from just a few yards away, reflexes become the only line of defense. For Lemmens, dealing with Šeško’s power at that distance can be a daunting task.
