Deepak Chahar, the outstanding pacer from the first ODI of the current series between Zimbabwe and India, has been benched for the second ODI to make room for Shardul Thakur.
Fans will also be shocked that Deepak Chahar, who finished a respectable spell with three magnificent wickets in the first ODI, was overlooked.
The playing XI for the Blues, which India will field with the exception of Deepak Chahar, is as follows:
India (Playing XI): Shikhar Dhawan, Shubman Gill, Ishan Kishan, KL Rahul(c), Deepak Hooda, Sanju Samson(w), Axar Patel, Shardul Thakur, Kuldeep Yadav, Prasidh Krishna, Mohammed Siraj
