WTC Final Live: India ends the day on 150/5; Australia emerges as better team

Indian cricket team are struggling right now in the WTC final.

Indian cricket team and Australian side have ended the day 2 gameplay. Australian cricket team is no doubt a better team at the end of the day as not only posting a good total on the board was the positive thing for them, but also dismissing 5 Indian batters was amazing.

Australia started their day with Steven Smith and Travis Head on the pitch. These batters were well settled and both of them completed their centuries in the innings. However, it was a good start for Indian bowlers as they start taking wickets at regular intervals. It started off with the Travis Head’s wicket who was sent off by Mohammed Siraj. Just after Travis Head, it was Cameroon Green who was caught on slips by Shubman Gill. Australian batting line-up started losing balance after Steven Smith was dismissed by Shardul Thakur.

Cheteshwar Pujara followed them and got out due to misjudgement.

Ajinkya Rahane and Ravindra Jadeja cautiously took India’s innings to 142 runs before Jadeja who was playing on 48 runs was sent back to pavilion by spin bowler Nathan Lyon.
