Update (00:15 IST) After losing out first ODI against India, West Indies opts to bat first in 2nd ODI. Shai Hope smashed a fine century (115 off 135 balls) and captain Nicholas Pooran hit a half-century (74 off 77 balls) to power West Indies to 311 against India in the second ODI on Sunday.

Shubman GIll (30 runs in 32 balls) and Shikhar Dhawan (11 runs in 26 balls) starts with a solid partnership of 41-0 in 9.4 overs before rain stops the play.

The game has been stopped off due to the rain – it has picked up a bit and the groundstaff have been brought covers on. The players going off the ground, hopefully it doesn’t get too much heavier.
