West Indies made a decent comeback from the Ireland defeat by winning against England in the first T20 on January 23. West Indies dominated the game from the beginning till the end not giving England any chance to come back in the game.

England was able to score only 103 and got all out in 19.4 over by the Windies bowlers. Man of the match Jason Holder managed to dominate the game. Holder took 4 wickets at the economical rate of 1.9 only. Holder conceded just 7 runs in his spell of 3.4 overs.

West Indies were able to chase down the target by losing just one wicket as Brandon King stood not out with a half-century added to his name.

Captain Pollard will be delighted to look forward and hope to rectify the mistakes the team did with Ireland.

Owners and selectors of the Indian Premier League must be eyeing the strong performance of the hosts against the great England team as the tournament is approaching. With the auctions not far enough, West Indies players will too be looking for an opportunity to get selected in the IPL. With two new teams coming in, 41 registered players from West Indies will be looking forward to an opportunity as the team is highly famous for its bashing and hitting in the T20 format.
