West Indies announced its ODI squad for the series against team India

West Indies announced the ODI squad soon after BCCI released the squad list for team India.

The Cricket West Indies along with the Selection Committee announced the One Day International squad for the tour of India. West Indies are likely to visit India in February as the series is set to begin from February 6 to February 20. The white-ball series includes three ODIs and three T20s.

As per the COVID-19 concerns, BCCI limited the venues for the upcoming series of West Indies and India. BCCI stated that the ODIs will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium, in Ahmedabad while the T20 will be played at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.

Kemar Roach, Nkrumah Bonner, and Brandon King have been called up for the series against India as the selectors think their presence can be critically important for the team.

The experienced pacer Kemar gets an opportunity to come back in the important series against team India as Kemar has played 92 ODIs, which helped him to bag in 124 wickets.

Inexperienced middle-order batsman Bonner also gets a chance to play this crucial series in India as Bonner has by far played only three ODI games, debuting against Bangladesh in 2021. King, the opening batsman is too new to the ODI format as he has played only 4 games in ODI.
