The information of the player was given by the cricket board itself when the series is to start after 24 hours. Hasaranga was in the grip of COVID-19 in Australia and according to the current reports, his report has not come negative.
Hasaranga has been a part of the team for the last two years and has performed well. Especially in the T20 world, Hasaranga’s performance was very good. But by coincidence, Hasaranga will not be part of the team, which is a big blow to Sri Lanka.
