
Virendra Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh and Harbhajan Singh are some of the former cricketers that will appear in the India Maharaja team. The team is participating in the inaugural edition of the Legends League Cricket (LLC), which is scheduled to commence on January 20 in Oman, reports PTI.
LLC is an event that is a professional cricket league for the international players who don’t play anymore and are retired. The first edition of the league is scheduled to be organised at the Al Amerat Cricket Stadium in Oman with the three power-packed teams while the other two teams will exemplify ASIA and the rest of the world.
Not just Yuvraj, Sehwag and Harbhajan but Irfan Pathan, Yusuf Pathan, Badrinath, RP Singh, Pragyan Ojha, Naman Ojha, Manpreet Gony, Hemang Badani, Venugopal Rao, Munaf Patel, Sanjay Bangar, Nayan Mongia and Amit Bhandari are the other flee names that will be appearing for the side of India Maharaja team.
The former coach of the Indian Cricket Team and Commissioner of Legends League Cricket Ravi Shastri told during a media release that the occurrence is going to be an explosion as Sehwag, Yuvraj, Bhaji faces against the rivals Afridi, Murali, Chaminda, Shoaib. “It will be the mother of rivalries,” said Ravi Shastri.
The Asian team includes some of the former cricketing legends from neighbour countries Pakistan and Sri Lanka. There will be a lot of big names seen at the event.
