The Hundred is a professional franchise 100-ball cricket competition in England and Wales that features eight men’s and women’s teams from significant cities. The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) will host the event, which will be held for the first time in summer 2021 after being postponed a year owing to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

The competition will offer equal weight to both men’s and women’s teams, with nearly all of the matches taking place in back-to-back doubleheaders on the same day at the same location. Both men’s and women’s games will be accessible with a single ticket, and the prize money will be equal for both.

Over a month, from July 22 to August 21, 2021, eight city-based teams will compete for the first title. The league will have 32 games in total. Each team will play four home matches and four away matches, with one match against every other team and a second bonus match against their closest regional rivals.

Following the completion of the league table, the top three teams will fight in the playoffs to determine the final champion. A semi-final will be contested at the Oval between the second and third teams. The semi-final winner will face the team that finished first in the league in the final at Lord’s, where they will compete for the title.
