Tamim managed to get into the Bangladesh team in the year 2007 and since then has been one of the most phenomenal opening batsmen the tigers can ever get. Tamim is the first Bangladeshi player to score 5000, 6000, 7000, and 8000 runs in ODIs. He is also the 33rd cricketer to have achieved the milestone of 8000 runs in the ODI format.
