New Zealand cricket team who have been already eliminated from the T20 World Cup 2024 will be playing against Papua New Guinea today i.e. June 17. New Zealand cricket team have been amazing in the last world cup but couldn’t capitalise in this one.
This was difficult for them as New Zealand missed out on the super 8 qualification. New Zealand got defeated by Afghanistan and West Indies in their group and was under pressure. West Indies and Afghanistan made it into the Super 8 and it was an easy thing for both of them.
Papua New Guinea, on the other side haven’t won a single game in the Group C and they have ruined their chances of qualification to the further stages. Despite a qualification in the T20 World Cup they failed to replicate their good performance in the tournament and thus had to face the elimination.
