The Indian cricket team is up against Bangladesh currently in the T20 World Cup 2022 at Adelaide Oval stadium, Adelaide. Rohit Sharma’s blues lost the toss and have been invited to bat first by Bangladesh’s skipper Shakib Al Hasan. In today’s game, India made a single change in their playing XI.

Indian team’s all-rounder Axar Patel is back in the team in place of batter Deepak Hooda. Deepak played his first game of the T20 World Cup for India on Sunday against South Africa. It wasn’t the debut Deepak would have expected as he didn’t get to bowl a single over and also he was out on duck in the game. Deepak Hooda performed well for India in some of the recent series and thus was selected in the Indian World Cup squad.

After India brought Axar Patel in again, they are now today with 6 bowling options. Pacers Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohammad Shami, Arshdeep Singh, Hardik Pandya and spinners Ravichandran Ashwin, and Axar Patel can bat as well.

The Indian team is going with Dinesh Karthik despite getting a niggle in the last game against South Africa and having to move out in the middle of the game.

Indian playing XI today against Bangladesh:

KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma(c), Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Dinesh Karthik(w), Axar Patel, Ravichandran Ashwin, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohammed Shami, Arshdeep Singh.
