In an action-packed Day 3 of the second test of the Ashes at Lord’s, the match witnessed a crucial wicket as Mitchell Starc claimed the dismissal of Harry Brook.
The dismissal came through an impressive catch by Pat Cummins, who didn’t disappoint after the call from Matt Renshaw at short leg to catch the ball. The delivery from Starc was angled away outside off, tempting Brook to take a swing at it.
Unfortunately for Brook, he couldn’t control the shot as he shuffled across outside leg. The ball ended up skimming off the inside half of the bat and Cummins expertly reverse cupped the catch at deep cover.
With this dismissal, Harry Brook’s innings came to an end, scoring a commendable 50 runs off 68 balls, including four boundaries.
