SL vs WI: Sri Lanka name 17-member team Tests against West Indies

On Saturday, for the two Tests against West Indies, Sri Lanka flew five Test players to join 17-member squad at the end of the ongoing limited overs tournament.

Sri Lanka cricket said that, Lahiru Thirimanne, Dhananjaya de Silva, Roshen Silva, Vishwa Fernando, and Lasith Embuldeniya – who were not included in the White-ball squad – Left the island Saturday for the Caribbean.

The first Test will begin on March 21 and the second and final match is scheduled on March 29.

After winning the second Twenty20 game by 43 runs on Friday, Sri Lanka has levelled the T20 series. The third and final T20 will begin from Sunday and the one-day internationals will be at the Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Stadium on March 10,12 and 14.
