SL v AUS: David Warner takes incredible one-handed catch to dismiss Dhananjaya de Silva

A terrific catch by David Warner sent Dhananjaya de Silva back to the pavilion during the limited-overs’ series of Sri Lanka versus India.

The fiery opener of Australia David Warner is known for his destructive batting. His batting stats are impressive, warner has scored around 24 test centuries, 18 ODI centuries, and one t20I century, totaling 43 centuries in his international career. But just not batting he is also known for his Excellent fielding effort and brilliant athleticism at the age of 35.

In yesterday’s ODI match between Sri Lanka and Australia, the 35-year-old David Warner took a flying catch of Dhananjaya de Silva in Ashton Agar‘s spell. Ashton agar was in disbelief after watching that stunning catch by David Warner. In the end, Srilanka fought and came up with the 300 runs on board for a 7 wickets loss. Ashton Agar took 2 wickets by giving 49 runs in his spell and surprisingly Marnus Labuschange took 2 wickets for 19 runs. The openers of Srilanka, Pathum Nissanka, and Dhanuska scored 56 and 55 each and a quick fiery by Wanindu Hasaranga added 37 runs in just 19 deliveries.

On the other side, David Warner was not looking comfortable against Mahesh Theekshana which cost him his wicket in the second over of the match. Subsequently, Steve Smith and Aaron finch took the responsibility and added 53 and 44 each. After that Glenn Maxwell came as a nightmare for Sri Lankans and took the Australians to the winning side by hitting 80 runs off 51 deliveries on board.
