Sachin Tendulkar gears up for Road Safety World Series as he hits the nets

Sachin Tendulkar turned the clock back as he showed his wide scope of shots in a video he posted on Twitter on Friday. Tendulkar posted a video of him getting ready for the upcoming Road Safety World Series. In the 14-second video, the Indian batting legend can be seen at the nets and displaying his wide scope of strokes, including an upper cut and a breadth shot.

Tendulkar wrote in his tweet, “Stepping on the field for India always gives me goosebumps. Looking forward to playing for our country, and spreading awareness about safety through the #RoadSafetyWorldSeries.”

On Friday, at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium in Raipur, India Legends will take on Bangladesh Legends in the opening match.

On Tuesday, along with Yuvraj Singh Tendulkar and other former Indian cricketers arrived in Raipur for the six-team tournament.

India Legends have a star-studded line-up with the likes of Irfan Pathan and Yusuf Pathan selecting to highlight in the Road safety World series.

The competition highlights six groups from India, England, South Africa, Sri Lanka, West Indies And Bangladesh.

Other Star players like Kevin Pietersen, Brian lara, Brett Lee, Herschelle Gibbs, Muttiah Muralitharan and Marvan Atapattu will likewise get back to the field.

The Semi-finals of the competition will be played on March 17 and 18 and the last is booked to be hung on March 21.
