Indian bowler Ravichandran Ashwin gifted an autographed jersey on behalf of all the Indian teammates to the New Zealand bowler Ajaz Patel. The spin bowler from New Zealand named Ajaz Patel had an amazing Test-match series in India. Even though the Kiwis were brutally defeated by the host (Indian Cricket Team), Ajaz Patel is the name that’ll be remembered by all as he was the one and only bowler who took wickets in the first innings. He took 10 wickets in the first innings as he became only the third bowler in this Test-cricket world to do so. It was an unforgettable test match for the Kiwis’ spinner.
The Indian cricket team was been wiped out for 325 in the first innings as Ajaz was the only bowler who took the wickets. Despite having a decent bowling performance from the Kiwis, they were too poor in batting. The whole batting line-up of New Zealand was been destroyed by the Indian bowlers at the score of 62. Instead of giving a follow-on, India decided to play their second innings. Ajaz was the one who started the wickets show again after dismissing the set batsman Cheteshwar Pujara who opened the second innings with Mayank Agarwal. India declared the innings with 276/7 on board. Ajaz took the most wickets (4) in the second innings too.

The target to New Zealand was too massive and it just seemed that it is impossible that the Kiwis will reach that. Day 4 started with some momentum for Indian bowlers as they keep taking wickets in regular intervals. After the victory, Ajaz and the Indian-New Zealand players were on the field. All the Indian teammates signed an Indian jersey and Ashwin who was the most wicket-taker in this Test match among the Indians was been told to give that to Ajaz who was the most-wicket taker in this entire match.
