Pakistan has kept the lead on the top of the table with another dominant win in the Women’s Asia Cup 2022. Pakistan was very brutal and clinical against the host to grab a 9-wicket victory at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium, Bangladesh.
Despite being a batting pitch Bangladesh’s top collapsed horribly. Pakistan dismissed 7 of their batters without letting them reach two digits. The hosts were restricted to 70/8 in the first 20 overs making the match look one-sided.
Pakistan only lost one wicket of Muneeba Ali (14) after which Pakistan skipper Bismah Maroof (12*) and Sidra Ameen (36*) finished the game in just 12.2 overs.
However, India can take back their top position after defeating Malaysia in the same tournament. But for now, it’s Pakistan’s dominance that speaks at the top.
