Oil Protestors interrupt play in Eng vs Aus clash at Lords

In a dramatic turn of events, just before the start of the second over in the match, two individuals rushed onto the field from the Grandstand, spraying orange powder paint as they sprinted towards the middle.

However, the swift response from stewards and the England fielders, led by wicketkeeper Jonny Bairstow, prevented the pitch invaders from reaching the pitch itself. Bairstow even took it upon himself to carry one of the protestors to the boundary, while the other was swiftly apprehended by the stewards.
