In the match between New Zealand and Bangladesh in the ongoing ODI World Cup 2023 in Chennai at M.A. Chidambaram stadium, Trent Boult reached a remarkable milestone by claiming his 200th wicket in One Day International (ODI) cricket. The left-arm pace sensation achieved this feat in his 107th ODI match, making him the third-fastest bowler to reach this remarkable landmark.
Trent Boult’s exceptional achievement places him in elite company, with only two bowlers having reached 200 ODI wickets in fewer games. The first of these is Australia’s Mitchell Starc, who accomplished the feat in just 102 matches, with an amazing pace. Close behind Starc is Saqlain Mushtaq, the former Pakistani spinner, who took 104 games to reach this impressive milestone.
