New Zealand won the three-game ODI series by 1-0 after the third game was called off.

The New Zealand cricket team won the three-game ODI series against India after the third game between the two was ‘called off. The third ODI couldn’t continue as the rain interrupted the play. The New Zealand cricket team won the first game of the series and led the series by 1-0.

It was Shikhar Dhawan’s first series against New Zealand as Indian ODI captain which didn’t well for the Indian opening batter. The weather wasn’t much favorable as the second and third ODI declared no result due to heavy rain. The third ODI was shaping up well before the rain. India’s struggle against New Zealand continues as they lost another series against them.

New Zealand was given the target of 220 runs in the last ODI by the Indian team. New Zealand were 104/1 in 18 overs and their batters were in total dominance. It would have been an easy victory for the Kiwis but the rain stopped the game and the officials decided to call it off.
