Due to a hand injury, batter Brooke Halliday will not play in the remaining matches of the limited-overs series against Bangladesh. For the final two T20Is, opener Rebecca Burns has been added to the squad. Georgia Plimmer, who was initially only chosen for the T20Is, will stay with the team to provide as batting cover for the ensuing three ODIs.

Halliday suffered a fracture in his hand after being struck during Northern Districts’ Hallyburton Johnstone Shield loss to Canterbury Magicians last Saturday. He will need four to six weeks of rehabilitation.
