New Zealand has named a UNCHANGED 13-man squad for their March 9 two-Test series against Sri Lanka. All 13 players from their recent 1-1 draw with England were named, with the exceptions of uncapped seamer Jacob Duffy, legspinner Ish Sodhi, and the injured Kyle Jamieson.
Tim Southee will lead the squad that is coming off the high of becoming only the fourth team to win after following on in a dramatic game in Wellington that they won by one run to level the series against England.
Kane Williamson will continue to lead the batting line-up, with support from Tom Latham, Henry Nicholls, Devon Conway, Daryl Mitchell, and Will Young. Tom Blundell will remain at the crease, with Michael Bracewell playing an important role in the spin department. Neil Wagner, fresh off his signature short-ball exploits against England, will lead the pacers alongside Southee, with Matt Henry, Blair Tickner, and Scott Kuggeleijn also in the lineup.
