New Zealand have announced the squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024 which is trending as the teams have started preparing for the same. New Zealand popularly known as ‘Blackcaps’ have named their squad for one of the most prestigious tournament of cricket.
Kane Williamson is all set to captain the side (New Zealand) despite being a benchwarmer in the IPL 2024. Gujarat Titans haven’t been able to find their best playing XI yet which is the reason they are not winning games. The team is not incorporating Kane Williamson to the starting XI who can be a X-factot player. He can also help Shubman Gill in the team’s captaincy role.
NZ has also named their star opener Devon Conway in the squad for world cup despite he is suffering from an injury. His injury didn’t let him play this season’s IPL as well for Chennai Super Kings. New Zealand are expecting him to be fit before this tournament. The T20 World Cup 2024 is set to begin in June this year and the teams have already started naming their squad just like New Zealand.
