On Sunday, in the finals of Syed Mushtaq Ali Throphy, Tamil Nadu defeated Baroda by seven wickets. Although Baroda have come up short in the finals of SMAT, but Hardik pandya and Krunal Pandya applauded the side’s run in the tournament.
To win the title for Tamil Nadu in the run-chase of 121 runs, Baba Aparajith played an unbeaten knock of 29 runs. Maimaran Siddharth’s four-wicket haul and Baba Aparajith’s unbeaten 29-run knock helped Tamil Nadu to win the title against Baroda by seven wickets in the finals of Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.

And on the other hand Krunal tweeted, saying: “Top effort boys! Superb performances. We’ve come a long way and there’s a long way to go.”

In January, Baroda skipper Krunal has left the bio bubble created in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy as his father passed away. He had left the bubble to be his family and so he did not play for Baroda in the rest of the tournament.
Krunal had played three matches in the ongoing Syed Mushtaq tournament and in the first match against Uttarakhand, Krunal manages to score 76 runs for Baroda.
On January 10 Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy had started and the group stages gave many young players a chance to show their skills.
