Jasprit Bumrah, KL Rahul to take part in Asia Cup 2023?

Indian cricketers Jasprit Bumrah, KL Rahul, and Shreyas Iyer are currently undergoing rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru. According to reports, Bumrah and Rahul are expected to be fit in time for the Asia Cup in 2023.

Bumrah has already started bowling and could make a comeback during India’s T20I matches against Ireland in August. However, the team management and medical staff are taking a cautious approach and don’t want to rush his return before the World Cup.

On the other hand, Rahul will miss the Ireland tour but can be seen for Asia Cup 2023. As for Shreyas Iyer, he is still unavailable, leading the selectors to consider Sanju Samson and Suryakumar Yadav as potential replacements for the upcoming ICC World Cup.

The NCA is closely monitoring the progress of all three players, ensuring their smooth recovery and eventual return to competitive cricket.
