Jake Fraser is scoring runs for Delhi Capitals at a great strike rate and thus it was believed that he will earn the spot. But he himself feels that he is not ready for the prestigious tournament.
Delhi Capitals’ explosive batter, Jake Fraser McGurk, has shared his feelings about his exclusion from the upcoming T20 World Cup 2023, despite his performances in the IPL 2024. The young talent, known for his aggressive batting style and remarkable strike rates, expressed his thoughts during an interview with Willow Talk.
“I wasn’t in a position to feel like I have earned the World Cup spot yet – World Cup cricket is a lot different from IPL and Franchise cricket,” revealed Jake Fraser McGurk.
Despite expectations surrounding his selection in the Australian national squad for the T20, World Cup that is to be played in the United States of America and West Indies, he was not selected. Fraser McGurk remains calm and feels he needs to keep working hard for the spot in the national team of Australia. Surely, he is a big talent and Australia won’t let it waste it.
