From March 1 to 5, Madhya Pradesh, the 2021-22 Ranji Trophy champions, will face the rest of India. The match is expected to be exciting, and the venue has been changed from the Holkar Stadium in Indore to the Captain Roop Singh Stadium in Gwalior due to the Border Gavaskar Trophy third Test match being played at the Holkar Stadium in Indore.

The venue for the third Test match between India and Australia has been changed from Dharamshala to Indore. This change has been made due to the unexpected change in weather conditions in Dharamshala, which could have affected the quality of the playing surface. Due to this the stadium is under construction.

The board decided to convert the match to a regular Test game because the venue did not meet the requirements for a pink-ball Test. Saurashtra, the Ranji Trophy champion for 2019-20, took on the rest of India in the Irani Cup opener in Rajkot in October.
