In the UAE, the franchise had a dismal season, with Kane Williamson’s team winning just three of 14 games. On March 29, the Sunrisers will face the IPL’s inaugural winners, Rajasthan Royals, headed by Sanju Samson, in the first match of their IPL 2022 season.
At the latest big auction, the SRH think-tank unearthed a terrific all-rounder in Washington Sundar who earned a remarkable 8.75 crore. Sundar. The 22-years-old former member of Royal Challengers Bangalore has played 42 IPL games; thus, so far. Sundar worked with the Bangalore-based team for four seasons before relocating to Hyderabad.
Sundar will make his comeback after a lengthy injury layoff that kept him out of the Indian team. He had made a remarkable recovery in the previous three-match ODI series against the West Indies, but he was ruled out of the next T20I series against the same opponents.

He reprises his inner limiting bowler in the T20s. He bowls wicket-to-wicket, concentrating on the stumps and attempting to limit the score. He’s started to use a range of methods in longer formats. He delivers into the pitch to enable the ball to break and, on occasion, tempts batsmen with flight.
Sundar has been performing well at the SRH camp in preparation for the IPL 2022 season. He was also putting in a lot of energy in the inter-squad matches.
