Virat Kohli made this record of facing 5000 balls during the game between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Chennai Super Kings which is been played at MCA Stadium, Pune on Wednesday, 4th May. It was a great start by the RCB opening batters named Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli himself. In the game against CSK both the openers had a 50+ run partnership and they both were so good against the uncapped CSK pacers in the powerplay.
Virat Kohli did face his 5000th ball in the game after the powerplay. After then he was dismissed by Moeen Ali. Behind him in the list there is Shikhar Dhawan who has faced 4810 balls in the league and also MI skipper Rohit Sharma who has played 4429 ball.
