TATA IPL 2022: Updated points table, orange cap, and purple cap holder after Match 38th of PBKS

Punjab Kings beat Chennai Super Kings by 11 runs in the 38th match of the IPL 2022 at the Wankhede stadium in Mumbai on Monday as Chennai Super Kings failed to chase down the target of 188.

Points Table – 2022

In their sixth game of the season, Gujarat Titans defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by eight runs to recover first place in the points table. Punjab Kings climbed up to sixth position in the points table after defeating Chennai Super Kings.

Orange Cap – 2022

Rajasthan Royals’ Jos Buttler now leads the Orange cap holder standings with an average of 81.83 and 491 runs after seven games, including three hundreds and two fifties. With 368 runs, K L Rahul overtook Hardik Pandya for second position, including two centuries and a half-century. Shikhar Dhawan is now at third place with 302 runs after his unbeaten 88 against CSK on Monday.

Purple Cap – 2022

RR leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has by far the most wickets this season, with 18 in seven games, along with a hat-trick against Kolkata Knight Riders. T Natarajan of the Sunrisers Hyderabad is in second position with 15 wickets. CSK’s Dwayne Bravo surpassed Kuldeep Yadav and is now in third spot with 14 wickets after the match against PBKS on Monday.
