The Vidharbha pacer has, so far, taken 49 wickets in the powerplay, being 4th on the list to do so. The list counts Sandeep Sharma, 53 wickets, Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, 52 wickets, Zaheer Khan, 52 wickets, followed by Umesh Yadav, who has picked 49 wickets.
His ability to achieve early swing and unsettle the openers puts him ahead of the list with the likes of Bhuvaneshwar Kumar. He generates pace with swing and that has made him a front runner in the bowling attack of Kolkata Knight Riders. The bowler has also picked 22 wickets in the league since 2018, followed by Deepak Chahar, 42 wickets, and Trent Boult, 28 wickets.
