In the 56th match of the ongoing season, Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma completes the milestone of highest run scorer against Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League.
Rohit has scored 1020 runs against KKR, making him the only batsman to score 1000 runs or more against the franchise.
Rohit Sharma is also the IPL’s second-highest run scorer against an opponent, after only Shikhar Dhawan’s 1029 against Chennai Super Kings.
MI skipper Rohit Sharma seemed at his form during last match against the Gujarat Titans after a streak of poor scores throughout the season. He scored 43 runs in 28 balls, hitting five boundaries and a couple of sixes.
Furthermore, given his outstanding performance against KKR, there was high expectation that Rohit would score big tonight, but then he was dismissed for 2 runs in 6 balls.
