After getting a disappointing defeat by Punjab Kings in their first game of the IPL 2022, Royal Challengers Bangalore will face Kolkata Knight Riders in their second match of the season at Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai on Wednesday, 30 March. Faf du Plessis and company gave a huge target to PBKS in their previous game but couldn’t manage to defend that total and had to stay on the losing side after the game. It will be another difficult game for RCB as they are facing KKR who have won their first game against last season’s champions CSK. There’s a possibility that RCB will change their team a little bit, especially in the field of bowling as it is their major concern for a long time now in the IPL.
Predicted Royal Challengers Bangalore XI: Faf du Plessis (c), Anuj Rawat, Virat Kohli, Dinesh Karthik (wk), Sherfane Rutherford, Shahbaz Ahmed, Wanindu Hasaranga, David Willey, Harshal Patel, Mohammed Siraj, Karn Sharma.
On the other side, Shreyas Iyer’s side did well in their previous game so, it seems they will go with the same playing XI. KKR’s side is looking strong after their first game against defending champions CSK and thus, they might not need a change in their team but still at last it will be a team’s call.
Predicted Kolkata Knight Riders XI: Ajinkya Rahane, Venkatesh Iyer, Nitish Rana, Shreyas Iyer (c), Sam Billings, Andre Russell, Sunil Narine, Sheldon Jackson (wk), Shivam Mavi, Umesh Yadav, Varun Chakravarthy.
