Pat Cummins have joined the Kolkata Knight Riders squad in India and therefore will join the team after his required quarantine period is completed. From April 6, the Australian pace-bowling all-rounder will be ready to play for the Kolkata team.
The quarantine is just for three days, but owing to Cricket Australia’s No Objection Certificate, Cummins would be academically ineligible for the Kolkata Knight Riders until April 6. Because of the Australian cricket team’s current tour to Pakistan, CA has locked down its players until April 5.
At the IPL 2020 Auction, Cummins was perhaps the most priced player. He was signed by the Kolkata Knight Riders for a whopping 15.50 crore, and KKR kept him for the same sum in 2021. Over the course of two seasons, the Australian all-rounder scored 229 runs and took 21 wickets for KKR.
