TATA IPL 2022: Netizens rally support for Arjun Tendulkar’s debut; MI yet again disappoints

Arjun Tendulkar started as a net bowler for Mumbai Indians before being signed for INR 20 Lakhs in IPL 2021 Auction. Mumbai again bought Arjun in IPL 2022 Mega-Auction at the same price.

Mumbai Indians have lost their first six matches of the season in a row in IPL 2022. This is the first time MI has lost these many matches in a row in the history of the league and the team’s qualification for the playoffs is now in jeopardy. The team has failed to contribute as a unit and only has one-two players contribute in every match. In batting Suryakumar Yadav has been consistent for the side in the last few matches, with other batters failing to deliver. Ishan Kishan also seemed impressive in the first two games of the tournament but failed to deliver after.

The bowling attack of MI is only been dependent on Jasprit Bumrah with other bowlers leaking runs. MI is also missing the presence of Jofra Archer, who may only be available in the ending stages of the tournament. Frustrated with Mumbai’s bowling attack, the fans are looking forward to having Arjun Tendulkar in the playing XI. The franchise also released a video of young left-arm medium-pacer uprooting the stumps of a batter with a perfect yorker, which gave fans a bit of a hint.

The fans also reacted to this video and want Arjun to be a part of the playing XI of MI’s battle against their arch-rival Chennai Super Kings.
