The Mumbai Indians are aiming for a good finish against the Delhi Capitals in the current IPL 2022 encounter at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai, with Ishan Kishan scoring an undefeated fifty. The Mumbai Indians got off to a good start with openers Ishan and Rohit Sharma, who put up 53 runs in the powerplay. Kuldeep Yadav, on the other hand, halted their momentum by grabbing three wickets in four overs. The Delhi Capitals won the toss and opted to bowl.

MI captain Rohit Sharma announced that Daniel Sams, Tim David, and Tymal Mills will all make their debuts during the toss. SuryaKumar Yadav’s services would also be missed by MI in this encounter. Tilak Varma is also making his debut. DC, on the other hand, has given debuts to a number of Indian and international.

As MI concluded with 177/5, Ishan hammered two back-to-back boundaries, one of which was a helicopter shot.

MI got a touch off track in the middle, but Kishan fought on, supported by cameos from Tilak Varma (22 off 15), and guided MI to a 177.
With the wickets of Rohit Sharma, Anmolpreet Singh, and Kieron Pollard, Kuldeep Yadav held the five-time winners at bay. Kuldeep returned with stats of three for 18 and Khaleel Ahmed added two wickets to his tally.
