On Saturday, Virat Kohli finally got his first fifty of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) and his 43rd in the league against Gujarat Titans. He scored 58 runs off 53 deliveries and played numerous magnificent strokes during his innings, giving the audience faith that he will be back to his best fairly soon.
He started the innings with captain Faf du Plessis, who was dismissed for a duck in the first over of the innings. Kohli, on the other hand, appeared focused and tried to ensure to stay in the middle. Before flapping his typical cover drive, he played a couple of stunning shots that indicated towards his return to form.
