TATA IPL 2022 LSG v CSK: Australian pacer Andrew Tye gets his Lucknow Super Giants’ cap

Andrew Tye who was signed by Lucknow Super Giants as a replacement for the English pacer Mark Wood is playing his first game of IPL 2022 against CSK.

Australian fast bowler Andrew Tye is playing his first game of IPL 2022 after he was been signed by the Lucknow Super Giants before the tournament started as a replacement for the English pacer Mark Wood. Mark Wood got injured ahead of the 15th season of the IPL, thus Lucknow Super Giants decided to pick this Australian pacer as his replacement.

Andrew Tye has also played IPL before and he was also under former Indian batter Suresh Raina’s captaincy in the Gujrat Lions team in the year 2016. The bowler also has an IPL hat-trick to his name. The pacer has gained a lot of attention in the IPL but got unsold in this year’s IPL mega auction.
