K L Rahul of the Lucknow Super Giants hits a magnificent century in his 100th IPL match, which was played against Mumbai Indians. He is also the first player to achieve this feat and has the highest individual score in the 100th IPL match.
He reached the century mark in the 19th over of the innings and finished undefeated on 103 in 60 balls with 9 boundaries and 5 sixes.
In IPL, he has also reached the 300 boundaries milestone today.
The Lucknow Super Giants had gotten off to a good start with openers KL Rahul and Quinton de Kock putting up 52 runs, but de Kock was removed in the sixth over by Fabien Allen.
Manish Pandey and KL Rahul’s 72-run partnership was shattered in the 14th over when Pandey was clean bowled by Murugan Ashwin.
