Quinton de Kock’s sportsmanship during the match against Punjab Kings is being applauded on Twitter. Some Netizens compared De Kock to Sachin Tendulkar, a sportsmanship figure famous for his integrity and who used to just walk away if the ball had edged off his bat.
De Kock tried to hit Sandeep Sharma’s delivery in the 12th over during the 42nd match of the IPL 2022 against Punjab Kings, but that was caught by Jitesh Sharma. Even the Umpire was not given out, but he was aware of this fact and headed back to the pavilion. Sandeep Sharma expresses his appreciation by patting Quinton de Kock on the shoulder.
Quinton was dismissed for 46 runs in 37 balls, including two sixes and four boundaries.
Quinton de Kock and Deepak Hooda put on a 50-run partnership in 43 balls before de Kock was dismissed.
Given Not Out but still Quinton de Kock walks, that's the Mumbai Indians effect since he has spent a lot of time with Sachin Tendulkar.😌 #LSGvsPBKS
