After KL Rahul and Quinton de Kock were dismissed by star Indian pacer Mohammed Shami, West Indies batter Evin Lewis was also got out, but this time it was Indian pacer Varun Aaron who took the wicket of the batter. There’s no one stopping Mohammed Shami on Monday at Wankhede stadium as he completed his three wickets before the powerplay. In his three overs, he has given only 10 runs and also toom 3 wickets which all are important ones.
Shami dismissed LSG’s skipper KL Rahul, his partner Quinton de Kock, and Manish Pandey who also joined the team in this year’s IPL. It is a disappointing start for LSG in the IPL as they are playing their first-ever game against Hardik Pandya’s Gujarat. Meanwhile, Gujarat Titans are having a dream start and they are just ruining the batting lineup of Lucknow Super Giants.
There were still some overs to go for the powerplay to end but Lucknow Super Giants were already 4 down in less than 30 runs. They will be looking to reach a respective total from here, but it seems difficult as Gujarat Titans’ bowling is just exceptional. Lucknow Super Giants need a partnership to build some momentum in the game otherwise it will be a cakewalk for Gujarat.
