Dwayne Bravo hailed MS Dhoni after the former captain of CSK handed over the baton of captaincy to Ravindra Jadeja.

Former Chennai Super Kings’ captain, MS Dhoni, is praised by all-rounder Dwayne Bravo, who said the skipper’s legacy will live on forever. Wishes have been flooding in for Dhoni, who recently handed over the baton to Ravindra Jadeja on Wednesday, capping off a successful leadership tenure.

Bravo has been an influential player of the CSK squad since his arrival in 2011 and is MS Dhoni’s trusted deputy. While he was released by the franchise prior to the 2022 season’s big auction, he was purchased back for INR 4.4 crore.

Before the mega auctions, Jadeja was CSK’s first choice for the retention list, and he was retained for INR 16 crore. Their second choice was Dhoni.

MS Dhoni, the iconic captain of the Chennai Super Kings, resigned down as captain after a record-breaking career at the head of the club since the league’s start in 2008. He led the team for 12 seasons and 204 matches in 14 years. For more than a decade, Dhoni has been the franchise’s lone full-time captain, with former CSK player Suresh Raina filling in on occasion.
