The 20-years-old batsman quickly raised eyebrows of the cricketing fraternity for his to outclass batting that kept the fight alive from Gujarat Titans’ end when the Punjab Kings bowlers outclassed the GT batting lineup. While playing his crucial knock of 65 off 50 deliveries when nearly the entire batting line-up kept falling like a pack of cards. Who is Sai Sudarshan?

Sai Sudarshan is a 20-years-old middle-order batsman who came to the limelight for his classy debut that featured a 101-run partnership with opener Shubman Gill. During his inning, Sai stood on the crease by bagging four boundaries and a sixer, paving the way for Rahul Tewatia to outplay Punjab Kings in the final over while finishing off the match with 12 needed off two balls. Sudarshan first stole the show during Tamil Nady Premier League (TNPL), finishing the tournament as a leading run-scorer in the tournament. Sai Sudarshan scored 358 runs in 8 innings, giving scope for the cricketing pundits to expect his career to climb an unimaginable steep.

The youngster also stole the show on his Syed Mushtaq Ali debut when he was 35 off 19 balls against Maharashtra and then quickly followed up the inning with a 31-ball 46 against Kerala. Presently, he is a mainstay of Gujarat Titans’ batting line up which is breathing fire against the opponent teams in their league debut.
