Dwayne Bravo has been the go to man for MS Dhoni in the IPL as Bravo won matches for CSK with the Bat as well as the ball, and was the team’s experienced players used in the death over’s of the games and often came with the goods for his team.
Bravo believes that Dhoni is arguably ” the best finisher the game has ever seen”. With the Former Indian Captain announcing his retirement from the International cricket last week, Bravo mentioned a moment facing MS Dhoni back in Florida 2016, a match against India in T20 when he stopped Dhoni from winning a T20 game in last over.
” I only had to defend six runs in the final over and I was bowling to the best finisher in the game. Dhoni is a difficult opponent to bowl, so it was a great achievement for me to stop him from getting those runs. I wish I could have bowled more to him in International cricket because I always like bowling to the best, ” Bravo said in a promotional gaming event.
Bravo who is currently playing for Trinidad Knight Riders in CPL spoke about Dhoni’s ability to stay calm in the moments of crisis, “AS a player he used to absorb so much pressure and never panicked. Dhoni always gives players the belief and confidence which is a hallmark of any great captains”.
IPL 2020 will soon be the focal point of every cricketer out there and Bravo too will return from his duties fo CPL and join CSK and Dhoni in UAE, he spoke about the change in the dynamics of the game said ” will adapt to the changes and is up for challenges.”
Dwayne bravo is placed amongst to be the best all rounders in T20 cricket and has often had clutch moments for his team CSK and National side West Indies when needed, so the focus will be on him for sure in the upcoming IPL 2020 which is scheduled on 19th of September.
