CSK would be very proud of their effort as they restricted Mumbai to under 165 runs despite the brilliant start by the MI openers. South African fast-bowler Lungi Ngidi was the star for CSK as he picked up 3 wickets in his 4 overs conceding 38 runs. Piyush Chawla was economical as well picking up a wicket in his 4 overs but conceding just 21 runs. Deepak Chahar and Ravindra Jadeja picked up a couple of wickets each as well.
Indian batsman Sourabh Tiwary was a huge plus to the MI camp as he scored 42 runs off just 31 balls. Opener Quinton De Kock scored 33 runs off 20 balls as well.
Mumbai would be confident of defending their total with the exciting bowling lineup that they possess, whereas CSK might feel that they can chase down 163 runs with their highly experienced batsmen.
